Tabula now compatible with Starlink Mini - bringing affordable remote connectivity to the field

2/07/25

July 2, 2025 - Agri-tech company Tabula has confirmed that its full suite of digital job management solutions is fully compatible with Starlink Mini - now more accessible thanks to a new, lower-cost plan from Starlink. This price drop makes it easier than ever for ground spreading contractors to stay connected in remote or hard-to-reach areas, giving operators the ability to run Tabula’s system from virtually anywhere.

Starlink Mini is a compact, portable satellite device that delivers fast, reliable internet with low power use. Customers purchase their own Starlink Mini subscription directly from Starlink, then connect their Tabula system to it for seamless in-field performance.

For ground spreading operators, maintaining a reliable data connection on the job has long been a challenge - especially when working in regions with poor cellular coverage. With Starlink Mini now available as a portable, satellite-based communications option, contractors can take Tabula’s system anywhere their truck can go, staying connected even in the most isolated paddocks.

“This is a game changer for customers operating in rural or hard-to-reach areas,” says John Enlow, Chief Executive Officer at Tabula. “By pairing our connected platform with Starlink Mini, crews can stay fully informed and keep working - without relying on patchy cellular service.”

Easy to set up and built for mobility, the lightweight Starlink Mini antenna is compact enough to mount on a truck or carry in the cab, enabling real-time access to Tabula’s tools wherever work takes place. Operators can share live job updates, transfer data between cab and office, and ensure application records are captured and synced - no matter how remote the worksite.

“Our customers need reliable tools they can take anywhere,” says Enlow. “Offering a seamless solution with Starlink Mini means they’re no longer limited by coverage - they can stay connected, get the job done, and know for sure it’s been done right. It’s another step in cementing Tabula’s position as a market leader in connected agri-tech solutions, delivering practical innovation where it matters most.”
